DCrew News - Issue #1

*From the desk...

Plan, do not plan, work that shitty job, at odd hours, through the winter months, killing yourself in some warehouse, putting up with fat, sweaty work mates bugging you for riding that useless toy, and save up all your money and spare hours, and take a longer trip. No matter how bad the job is, it will be worth it. Leave. Get out. Grab your sleeping bag, some clothes, walkman, and your skateboard, and see where you can go. Jump onto whatever comes your way. Hitch-hike, catch a bus, get on a train, or drive as far as you can. Most people will want to leave on the spur of the moment to go skate something new. Take extreme lengths to get out of work, school or anything, just to go. Gather as much or as little money and roll away. Go solo, or in a crew. Just be out there.

Now that I've grabbed your attention, and am now beating it with a spiked baseball bat... it is time for me to say, AARRGGHH! No not realy, this, the first issue of dcrew news, where I keep you updated on the latest shit to hit the fan. *DCrew News...

The latest news in the crew, 'dcrew news' just a sign of the dcrew slowly heading up in the world. With a bit of luck we should have a fully operating website up and running soon, with the help of 'DJRavine'.

And DJRavine don't forget the party, 22nd June.

*Last Skate...

Last Saturday, a good skate session in the city. The usual location of Post Office Square, was slightly crowded with the presence of an upturned solid cow! So the other side of the road became quiet popular. Everyone seemed to be there, so that was good, its not to often the entire crew is there on the one day. Gratz impressed everyone with his fakie ollie up the gutter, nice hieght, perfect landing, good one Gratz. DJRavine turned up later in the day, unfortunately so did the rain. But cleared up long enough, for one last effort from all of us. Good one guys.

*Music News...

The new Korn album comes out, 10th June. I purchased the Korn single, 'here to stay', and after listerning to it for the first time I wasn't to impressed. although after listerning to it 8 or 9 times it started growing on me. It will be interesting to see how the album turns out, will it be a flop like the last one was voted.

The new Eminem album, the Eminem Show, seems to be a success. I've only heard parts of the Album myself, thats all I needed to hear though to say, the Eminem Show, buy it!

And on a final note, I was possessed by demons yesterday and they forced me to buy the Christina Milian's single 'When you look at me', I must say, the song itself it average, but the filmclip on the CD... I'd give her a poke!!

*Epilogue...

Anyway thats pretty much it for the first issue of the dcrew news, all kinds of shit will be added into future issues, but thats it for now. Next issue I will give in depth story about 'Operation Black Op', more music news and all that other useless shit I go on about.
